Movement reconciliation

Every change in a pile measured by the scans is matched to the order that released it, the weighbridge tickets and the dispatch or loading record. Anything that does not match is an exception. Select a movement to see its record and evidence packet.

Stockpiles

Each bay is scanned in 3D every five minutes. The surface is turned into a volume, and the volume into tonnes with the pile's bulk density, checked against the last monthly survey.

Evidence ledger

Every scan result, alarm and reconciliation is written to an append-only, tamper-evident ledger. Each entry is fingerprinted together with the previous entry's fingerprint, so any later edit breaks the chain.

Collateral

The lender's read-only view. Stock financed under the collateral agreement is measured on every scan, not taken from the borrower's declarations. If measured stock falls below the financed minimum, or moves without an approved release, the lender is told on the shift.

Illustrative. Ardmore Commodity Finance finances Kestrel Ore Trading's iron ore on P1 and P2 at Stockyard B. Stock is held under a collateral management agreement with Tessaly Collateral Services (fictional). Financed quantities are in dry metric tonnes (dmt); scans measure wet tonnes (wmt), converted at each pile's lab moisture. Ore valued at $105/dmt for illustration only; P3 is not financed.

Losses avoided

Estimate what continuous stockpile measurement would keep in the yard at your own sites, and how much financed stock it would put under measurement. Adjust any assumption.

Illustrative estimate, not a quote or a guarantee. The ore price and the share of losses prevented are your assumptions.

Simulated port iron ore stockyard running Alchemy Inc.'s Stocksight. The terminal, stockpiles, vessel, trucks, orders, tickets, stock owner and lender are fictional, and the ore price is illustrative. Scan surfaces are generated from pile tonnages; ledger entries are real chained hashes, each including the previous hash.
